# The man behind your cap table.

**Mate I. Zgombic**

Founder, CapTablePro

Mate has 18+ years in cap table management and equity administration — the kind of work usually locked behind law-firm hourly rates. Before founding CapTablePro, he's been a corporate paralegal at leading  law firms and was a subject matter expert advisor to Carta in the early years.

Today, Mate leads CapTablePro's cap table work directly — bringing the same rigor a startup would get from first class law firms.

 Core Belief

## Clarity over complexity

Equity shouldn't require a law degree to understand. I strip out the jargon and handle the mechanics, so you always know exactly what your cap table says — and why.

### Why Founders Trust CapTablePro

💡 **18+ years of law-firm-caliber experience.**

🤝 **Thousands of startups served.**

🌍 **Former Advisor and trusted partner of Carta.**

📊 **Founder-first.**

### How I Work

I don't just advise — I execute. From grant issuance to due diligence prep, I handle the mechanics of your cap table directly inside Carta or whichever software provider you are using. — so nothing falls through the cracks between "knowing what to do" and "actually getting it done.
